Our surgeons started Northwest Minimally Invasive Surgery in 2017, where they saw a need in the community for high quality surgical care that was compassionate and efficient.
The Northwest Hernia Center is a continuation of that mission.
Robotic Surgery
Hernia surgery has changed dramatically in the past decade.
With advances in robotic surgery, most abdominal hernias can now be fixed in a minimally invasive approach, which has been shown to improve patient outcomes. Our providers at Northwest Minimally Invasive Surgery are dedicated to performing laparoscopic and robotic hernia repairs whenever possible. They are leaders in the field, offering the most advanced robotic techniques and teaching other surgeons around the globe how to perform these hernia repairs safely and efficiently.
Many hernia surgeries are now performed as an outpatient, with significantly less post-operative pain and wound complications compared to open surgery.
