Dr. Tseng is a general surgeon with special training in Minimally Invasive Surgery. He grew up in Eugene and left Oregon to attend Northwestern University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. He then matriculated to the University of Illinois – Chicago for medical school and then returned to Oregon for residency at OHSU. After residency, he continued training and completed a two-year fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery in 2006. He has been practicing at Providence St. Vincent’s and Legacy Good Samaritan Hospitals since 2006.
He was one of the first general surgeons in Oregon to be trained in robotic surgery in 2007. He is a specialist in Solid organ and Gastrointestinal Surgery – Esophagus, Stomach, Colon, Small bowel, Pancreas, Spleen, and Adrenal. General Surgery (laparoscopic) – Hernia repairs, Peritoneal dialysis, Gallbladder, and many others. He is a member of the Society for American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, Society for the Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, and the American Foregut Society.
He enjoys skiing, spending time with family, cooking, tennis & golf.

Dr. Watkins is a general surgeon who has specialized training in minimally invasive and gastrointestinal surgery. His goal is to view each patient as an individual with unique healthcare needs. He believes wellness and improvement in quality of life should be the primary goal of each visit. Establishing relationships with patients and seeing the change in their life after successful therapy is the highlight of his practice. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He earned a Doctor of Medicine at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He completed a general surgery residency at Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas and went on to train an additional year in the Advanced Gastrointestinal surgery fellowship program at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, WA devoted to esophageal/thoracic surgery and advanced endoscopy.
His interests lie in esophageal surgery, endoscopy, and general surgery. He commonly treats reflux disease, esophageal motility/swallowing disorders, cancers of the alimentary tract, hernias, diaphragmatic/thoracic endometriosis, peritoneal dialysis catheter access and other general surgical issues. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and member of the Society for American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).
He enjoys spending free time with his wife and 3 boys, cycling, snowboarding and music. He is also fluent in Spanish.
